Dear Grandma,
It's Christmas time again, and you flood my thoughts more than usual. I've been through a lot this year, but I know you already know that. I wouldn't have made it through all of this, if it weren't for you. I watched how strong you were when you went through it yourself. Helped me realize that I had the strength in me as well.
I miss you so much this year. Maybe because this is the first year that I haven't had our "traditional" Christmas Eve. My mom and brother aren't here. But I did my best to piece together what I could of our traditions. I went to two Church services, like I used to with mom. Being in Rivercrest made me think of you so much, and it took everything in me to hold back tears. I love you Grandma.
I know you're watching over me, and I thank you for all that you've done for me. You were an amazing woman, and you are forever in my thoughts.
Merry Christmas Grandma.
