Pursuing Happiness

"I'm on the pursuit of happiness and I know everything that shines ain't always gonna be gold.  Hey I'll be fine once I get it.  I'll be good."

At the end of the day, thats the one goal that everyone can agree that they're striving for.  Happiness.  No matter who you are, or where you are, that is one thing you're always chasing.

I've been looking for happiness my whole life.  There have been many bumps in the road on the way, but it hasn't stopped me from going after it.  I've found my bouts of sadness, and other things, but I keep going for it.  Even if its only subconsciously.

And maybe one day, I'll find that true happiness.  But, until then, I'll just keep trekking my way to that goal.  I'll fall and get hurt along the way, but thats all apart of life.  You aren't really alive and living if you don't experience those things in life.
